Hello,
I am excited to start my third year here at Genesee Jr./Sr. High School and my sixth year in the field of education. Before I assumed the athletic director and special education position at Genesee, I was a physical education teacher for three years at Bellevue Elementary and a varsity baseball coach. I believe in today’s youth and love having the opportunity to impact them daily.
I spent my undergraduate experience at Olivet College, where I majored in physical education and special education. I was a member of the baseball team while I obtained that degree. Shortly after, I received a master’s degree from Northcentral University with a specialization in Sports Management. I’m currently enrolled at Eastern Michigan University, obtaining post master’s credits to earn an administrator's certificate. I’ll be finishing that experience by the end of the year.
While these times are certainly providing us new challenges, I know that we will be ready. In my short time at Genesee, I have learned that it really is a special place to be. I can’t wait to see you all soon!
