Dolly Parton Imagination Library
Free Books for Genesee County Children Birth to Age 5!
Flint and Genesee Literacy Network Announces:
As a community, we want all children to enter kindergarten healthy and ready to read. We can now offer a great opportunity for Genesee County parents to get free books for their children!
Parents of children residing in Genesee County can sign up for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a program that sends a book each month to the home of each registered child (birth through five years of age) at no cost to the family. Children of different ages receive different titles; the books are carefully selected and are the children’s to keep.

After a District-wide phone update two evenings ago, we have found that we are experiencing intermittent phone outages across the District. This is specifically affecting Haas Elementary this morning as they cannot accept incoming phone calls. We are working closely with our technology department and our vendor to remedy this as quickly as possible.

Please make sure that you are not dropping your child off before 7:45 am. Students should not be left unattended outside the building and cannot be in the Jr/Sr High school with siblings.
Please do not park and walk your child to the doors. Parents should remain in their vehicles and all vehicles should be in the car lines at all times.
We ask that students who are not eating breakfast not be dropped off until 8:00 am. Please do not line up to drop off your child until 7:55/8:00 am if possible, as this causes a huge backup for parents who are trying to drop their child off for breakfast as well as staff who are trying to park.
We appreciate each of you and how awesome and patient you are!! Thank you!
