Subject: Important: M-Step Testing Schedule for Next Week Dear Genesee Families, Next week, our students will begin M-Step testing as part of Michigan’s statewide assessment program. These assessments are an important tool that help us measure student progress and ensure we are meeting grade-level learning goals. Testing will take place on the following days: 📅 Tuesday, April 29th 6th Grade: English Language Arts 7th Grade: English Language Arts 8th Grade: Science 11th Grade: Science 📅 Thursday, May 1st 6th Grade: Math 7th Grade: Math 8th Grade: Social Studies 11th Grade: Social Studies Please help your student prepare by ensuring they: Get a good night's sleep before testing days, arrive to school on time, and eat a healthy breakfast.
